Saul H. Segan Esquire has been a practicing lawyer in PA and NJ for over 34 years. He is a graduate of Rutgers University where he received his A.B. degree and his Juris Doctor degree from the Rutgers Law School. In addition to having participated in hundreds of trials, he has been a frequent guest on radio and television providing legal analysis and guidance to the viewing audience. For nearly ten years Mr. Segan hosted and produced the popular cable program, “Today’s Law” on Greater Media Cable (now Comcast,) which was seen on many area cable systems. Mr. Segan also appeared on AM Philadelphia, on WPVI-TV Channel 6, Delaware Today on WHYY-TV 12, Comcast CN8’s It’s Your Call, and was a guest host on WWDB-FM, former popular talk radio station. Mr. Segan is still called upon to provide legal analysis for many media entities and has become a regular contributor on legal matters for Fox29 News Good Day Philadelphia. Mr. Segan has also appeared frequently on CourtTV for commentary and case analysis. For many years, Mr. Segan served as Co-Chairman of the Philadelphia Bar Association’s prestigious Bar-News Media Committee. In the past, Mr. Segan moderated numerous informative and provocative discussion panels on key issues involving the legal profession , race relations, and the print and electronic media. The committee provides sources of accurate information for journalists who report legal news to the public in an effort to dispel misconceptions that could reach the public and deter their receiving the legal assistance that they need.
He has spoken in the past as a career panelist for Lafayette College as well as other institutions of higher learning. Mr Segan is a staunch advocate of language education and integrating these skills in the law and in all professions. Mr. Segan is fluent in both Spanish and French, and is currently refreshing his knowledge of German and Italian (with a smattering of Hindi, Portuguese, and Papamiento!)
Mr. Segan has been married for twenty-eight years and has three grown children in college . He is active in local community affairs and has served on the board of several non-profit organizations
